The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program held its latest Targeted Draw on January 31, 2023, inviting qualified candidates for Skills Immigration and sending nearly 284 invitations to apply (ITAs). This draw required candidates to have SIRS scores between 60 and 85 points.
Applicants were invited to apply under the BC PNP through general and targeted draws for in-demand occupations and professions, including Express Entry BC. Candidates were chosen from the following categories:
- Skilled Worker
- EEBC Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
- EEBC International Graduate
There were separate Targeted Draws for the applicants under the BC PNP Tech, Childcare, Healthcare and Other Priority Occupations.
A total of 243 applicants were invited under the Targeted Tech Draw, 18 under the Targeted Childcare Draw, and 18 under the Healthcare Draw. Applicants with the other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104) have also received less than five invitations.
In 2023, British Columbia issued 1,122 invitations under the British Columbia PNP streams.

BC also conducted draws for candidates who meet the requirements for a few in-demand NOC TEER Codes under the Childcare, Healthcare and Other Priority occupations.
Targeted draws might require lower SIRS scores compared to general draws. Each targeted category required SIRS scores of 60 this week. BC invited the following number of applicants in these draws:
