Out of 4,000 BC PNP nominations, the province will accept:
- 1,100 new applications from health authority employees, entrepreneurs, and high-impact skilled workers
- The remaining 2,900 nominations will go to pending applications.
Health Authority Stream: The BC PNP’s main focus for the 1,100 targeted nominations is healthcare, specifically, positions that directly contribute to delivering healthcare services, such as doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
High-Impact Skilled Workers: The BC PNP will issue a limited number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Skills Immigration registrants who are expected to create high economic impact in B.C.. The program plans to nominate around 100 candidates from a pool of over 10,000 applicants.
3. No General Draws in 2025
- The BC PNP will only issue targeted invitations for healthcare, entrepreneurs, and high economic impact candidates.
- No general or priority occupation draws are expected this year.
4. International Graduates (IPG) Stream Waitlisted
International Post-Graduate applications submitted between September 2024 and January 2025 will be waitlisted until additional nomination slots are allocated.
- Applications submitted before September 1, 2024, will be processed.
- Applications submitted between September 1, 2024, and January 7, 2025, are waitlisted (there are no guarantees).
5. Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Changes
BC PNP will no longer consider early childhood educator assistants under the ECE targeted draws.
Only fully qualified ECEs will be invited.
Who is Eligible for the BC PNP in 2025?
