Who Can Apply?

• Candidates with approved job offer under the category of skilled occupation.
• Candidates must have legal status and a valid work permit.
• Candidates must have a clear intention to reside in Canada.
• Work experience of at least two years in the same occupation as the job offer.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Job Offer: You must have an approved full-time and permanent job offer under the “skilled occupation” category listed in TEER category 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
2. Work Experience: You should have a minimum work experience of two years or have a valid license or authorization from the appropriate regulatory body.
3. Median Wage Level: The remuneration of the job offered must be the same or higher than the median wage level for that occupation in the working region of Ontario.
4. Urgent Requirement of Position: The position offered to you must be urgently required at the employer’s desk and demanded as a part of the ongoing business activity.
5. Work-based in Ontario: The position of the job offer must pertain to the workplace primarily in Ontario.

3. Invitation to Apply: If selected from the pool, you will receive an invitation to apply for nomination. This invitation is valid for 14 calendar days.
4. Registration: Apply to the online platform of OINP and complete the registration process.
5. Nomination: If nominated by OINP, you will receive a Letter of Nomination valid for six months.
6. Work Permit Application: Apply for a work permit and start working in the approved position within 10 months from the date of nomination.
