NLPNP International Graduate Eligibility Criteria
- Job Offer: You must belong to TEER level 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 levels. In case of TEER 4 level, you must be in an in-demand occupation. You must have a valid IRCC Post-Graduation work permit (PGWP) with a minimum 4 months of remaining validity when applying to the NLPNP International Graduate category.
- Field of Study: You should work full time in a field related to your field of study in the post-secondary program which you must have completed in Canada. If you are a graduate from outside Newfoundland and Labrador, then you should work full time for a minimum of one year in the province, mandatory in their field of study. You are exempted from the field of study requirement if you have graduated from Memorial University or College of the North Atlantic.
- Language Proficiency: In case of TEER 4 level occupation, you need to submit a valid language proficiency test with your application of NLPNP International Graduate Category. For immigration, following are the acceptable language proficiency tests and related scores:
- English: IELTS General (CLB 4 Equivalent Minimum Scores): Listening: 4.5 – Reading: 3.5 – Writing: 4.0 – Speaking: 4.0
- English: CELPIP- General (CELPIP-G) (CLB 4 Equivalent Minimum Scores): Listening: 4 – Reading: 4 – Writing: 4 – Speaking: 4.0
- Français: Test d’évaluation de français (TEF Canada) (CLB 4 Équivalent Minimum Scores): la compréhension de l’oral : 145 – la compréhension de l’écrit : 121 l’expression écrite : 181 – l’expression orale : 181
- Français: Test de connaissance du français (TCF Canada) (CLB 4 Équivalent Minimum Scores): la compréhension de l’oral : 331 – la compréhension de l’écrit : 342 l’expression écrite : 4 – l’expression orale : 4
Inclusion of Family Members on NLPNP International Graduate Application: You have the option of including the following family members in your NLPNP application:
- Your spouse or common-law partner
- Your dependent child
- Your spouse or common-law partner’s dependent child
- A dependent child of a dependent child
You can also apply for permanent residency on behalf of these family members.
